We want you to have a great time on your visit to Scotland’s National Stadium and are doing all we can to keep you safe.
Here’s what you need to know when attending an event:
We encourage fans to arrive as early as possible to allow for additional security measures on entry to the stadium. This will help prevent large queues and delays getting into the venue for the main event.
Please consider whether you need to bring a bag to Hampden Park. We do not allow large bags into the stadium for security reasons.
You will be permitted to take an A4 size bag or smaller into the stadium. One bag is allowed per person.
We class small bags as no larger than A4 size or standard handbags. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags and large tote bags are NOT permitted inside the stadium.
On event days you may see trained sniffer dogs in action.
Please remember, these are busy working dogs with a very important job to do.
You can help us keep you safe by reporting anything that doesn’t feel right. If you SEE anything suspicious, SAY something to our security team. We’ll SORT it.
If you think there is an immediate risk, always call 999 and look around you for help from staff - especially those with radios who can raise the alarm quickly.
SEE it, SAY it, SORTED.
Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of other visitors
Preparing for screening - it's really simple.
Finish up any food and drink before you enter the stadium itself as you’re not allowed to take these in with you.
Head to the entrance that is stated on your ticket and join one of the queues.
Have your tickets ready for scanning.
Keep your bags and coats on your person, there is no need to take items from your pockets, unless instructed to by our security team.
Patrols – Please be advised our security teams will carry out regular patrols around the stadium and monitor CCTV 24 hours a day.
