Hampden Park Sustainability Statement
Hampden Park, Scotland’s National Stadium, is a multi-purpose venue and the home of Scottish Football which welcomes hundreds of thousands of spectators and visitors each year.
Being at the heart of our national sport, delivering world class events and welcoming guests on a daily basis, comes with responsibility. We have a duty to our spectators, visitors and our local community to be an ambassador for the future. We understand the vital significance of sustainability and its implications for our community, the environment, and the next generation at Hampden Park. We are dedicated to lessening our environmental impact and promoting a sustainable culture as a top sports and entertainment destination.

- We have been a member of Green Tourism since 2023
- We provide an accessible stadium and facilities that embrace our diverse spectators and visitors’ individual requirements

- We partner with local suppliers to reduce our environmental impact and enhance local community support.
- We source sustainable seafood from Marine Stewardship Council certified suppliers only.
We have created a Sustainability Strategy to put ambitious plans in place, not only to minimise our impact on the environment, but also to embed sustainability in everything we do, creating a positive legacy for future generations. Although football and major events are our passion, we have a vision that Hampden will be the Stadium of choice as an internationally recognised venue with a conscience. In support of Scotland’s world leading climate change targets, we will reduce carbon emissions from energy, waste and water, alongside improving our community impact.
